I just love sessions with new parents…you can just feel the love & joy they have for their new little one! I love chatting with them to hear how they’re adjusting to this big life change & the sleepless nights. It was so great to meet new parents, Jennifer & Jeff. The love & excitement they feel for their sweet baby Addison was evident

Beckett is TWO!

Some of my favorite shoots (and sometimes the most challenging) are ones with toddlers. I love that they really make me work for my shots–I usually have to chase them around, play games with my camera & interact with them while trying to steal a few shots of them here & there. My shoot with Beckett was just that~& with it being winter we were confined to the inside of his house, which can sometimes make sessions with toddlers even trickier -but we still had fun & got some cute pics! This was my 2nd time taking pictures of Beckett. He is so stinkin cute (as you will see in the pics) & has a very fun personality too…
Baby Blake-Newborn Session

What is cuter than wrinkly baby toes?? I mean, is there anything in life sweeter than newborns and all their cute little features? Meet baby Blake…and get ready to get a little peak of heaven! Last week I drove to Columbus to take some pictures of this little one, and I just loved getting to meet him! It’s easy to forget how small our littles ones are in those early days, and I love being able to capture this precious yet brief stage for parents. Amber & Adam, thanks for having me and I hope you enjoy the preview. What a blessing he is!

Last week I had a session with KC & Dan and their pup, Jana. KC wanted to get some pics of them during this season of life…no special occasion…just for fun. Of course we happened to choose a pretty chilly day, so we had to be quick, but I think we got some cute shots of their little family. Thanks again, guys. I really enjoyed the time with you! 2010 is off to a busy start here at Sarabeth Photography! I have quite a few sessions to post in the coming days–so keep comin back! Here are a few photos from my engagement shoot with Jody & Mark down in Columbus. We had lots of fun together, despite the chilly winter temps. They are a really sweet & fun-loving couple, so I took a lot of “laughing” shots, which I love. I am looking forward to shooting your wedding NEXT month, you guys!

I have 2 engagement sessions to post which I shot in the same day down in Columbus recently…the 1st is for Jamie & Brian whose wedding I am excited to document later this summer! With Columbus being my hometown, I enjoy frequent visits and have quite a few connections with people down there. So…if any of you reading are from Columbus, know I’m always up for traveling down for photo shoots!! (I will actually be down there tomorrow to photograph a sweet newborn!) Here are the images….enjoy!

I still can’t believe another new year is underway! 2009 was definitely a blur! I am planning to do a “year in review” post of 2009 images in a couple days, but for now, I will post a few from a session with 3 year-olds Jack & Claire. (There may be more than a “few” because we ended up with lots of good ones & it was so hard to pick my favorites.) They are just too cute for words, and I love their personalities! This was my 2nd time photographing them, and it was fun to spend time with them again. I just love that I have repeat clients and I get to watch their little ones grow & change.

I have many goals and new things in the works for 2010 for Sarabeth Photo–1 thing is to make my blog posts more frequent–actually one of the things in the works for SBP is a NEW blog & website!!! I am SO excited to reveal this, once it’s ready! I have created new branding for SBP & the site will have my new color scheme & I absolutely LOVE it!!
Anywho, I have roughly 10 blog posts to catch up on, but for now, some pics of my Charlie-boy & Christmastime with our family. It was our 1st in our new home & it was a blast!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!! Ours was so great–it just gets more fun as Jack gets older & I love it! (I will have a Christmas post coming soon.) I have seriously neglected this blog…on purpose. I needed a little break from the computer in general & it’s been very nice. I seriously didn’t check email (well, except for the stuff that automatically comes to my blackberry), facebook, blog, nothin…but now I’m ready to get back to it all & i have quite a few sessions to process & post in the coming days. I can’t believe tomorrow starts a new year! I am excited for 2010 and what it may hold for Sarabeth Photography & I’m excited to share a few things in the works…soon!
